Brittany Muchmore Volleyball Bio

 

brittanyA native of Peoria, Arizona, Brittany Muchmore graduated from Centennial High School in 2004. With the Coyotes she garnered first team all-state and region player of the year honors as a senior. She was also a first team all-region and honorable mention all-state selection as a junior in 2002 and helped lead the team to the state tournament’s final four in both 2001 and 2003.

After high school, Muchmore went on to a 4-year playing career with the Adams State College Grizzlies in Alamosa, Colorado. Her career was capped by a 2007 Honorable Mention All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference West Division honor. Upon completion of her playing career she served as the assistant coach for Adams State and completed her bachelor’s degree in human performance and physical education.

Brittany currently holds the sixth spot on the ASC’s NCAA Division II era charts for career kills with a total of 766. She was also a 3-time Academic All-RMAC pick and was named to the A.D.’s Honor Roll after each of her eight semesters on the team at ASC and graduated Cum Laude with a 3.7 GPA.

She coached for Dunes Volleyball Club in Alamosa for four years, since its founding in 2005. Muchmore also co-coached Club Arrowhead’s 16-1’s last season.

Brittany currently works for a disability attorney and lives in Glendale. She loves to bake and decorate cakes, trips to the lake and camping. She is getting married in November of this year.
